I'm not sure. Loading a Tool doesn't mean you necessarily want the Tool Length Active. Also the tool slot T might not equal the Tool number H. Yo can probably add that functionality into an M6 program.

I see what you are saying. The Tx command will pull out the tool in position x, but that is not necessarily tool number x in that slot. I guess the best way to handle it is I will add a check box selecting whether you want the offsets applied when a tool is manually selected from the drop down.
I also add a tool tip that displays the Comment listed in your tool table for the currently selected tool. Eric
